January 9, 2004 Hampton Roads Snowfall: A light snow started falling on January 8, 2004 around 10pm. It continued through a good part of the day on the 9th. It was just enough to cover the grassy areas with about 2 inches. The area had not seen cold enough temps for the snow to stick to the roadways. All images copyright Jesse V.
